| I have seen many of these snakes in the wild in the vast sugar cane plantations of Palm Beach, Hendry, and Glades County, Florida. I have kept the nicest ones for my breeding project. Florida kings are dark brown to black and thin yellow crossbars with varying degrees of yellow speckling. Like brooksi and goini, babies often show varying amounts of red coloration, which usually fades to yellow in the adults. |
